In addition to his wife and children, Jay is survived by his sister, Kimberlia Kirk and her husband Tobi Kirk of Detroit; his brother, Paul Langford and his wife Sherrie (Miller) of Woodstock; his father-in-law, Jack Van Raay of Chatham; and his sisters-in-law, Michelle Van Raay and Jodi Mackenzie (Van Raay). He also leaves behind numerous nephews, as well as seven great-nieces and great-nephews who will continue to carry his memory forward.
Beyond his family, Jay built lasting friendships throughout his life. He had a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life, making others feel comfortable and appreciated.
